When to reserve a camper?

Vacancy of campers in different seasons is different. The biggest interest in rent of the campers is in late spring, summer and early autumn. If you are planning to go on a trip during high season, we recommend reserving a camper 3 – 4 months in advance. If it is the last minute when you decide to go on a trip during high season, please call us anyway as sometimes plans of our clients change and reservation of the camper is cancelled. It is quite difficult to predict vacancy of campers during other seasons, therefore we recommend reserving them as soon as you decide about the dates of your trip.

Insurance and its validity?

All our campers are insured with third party liability insurance (green card) and all-risks insurance, valid in all Europe (except Ireland, Great Britain and Cyprus, i.e. countries where the traffic is on the left side).

Can we go outside of Europe?

All our campers are insured with third party liability insurance (OCTA) and all-risks insurance, valid in all Europe (except Ireland, Great Britain and Cyprus, i.e. countries where the traffic is on the left side), therefore we recommend travelling in Europe. Outside of the borders of Europe, in Ireland, Great Britain and Cyprus these insurance policies are valid partially or not valid at all, therefore the traveller will have to insure at its expense. Taking into account the condition of the roads of certain non-European countries, we do not recommend travelling there by camper or without a vehicle specially prepared for the trip.

Yes, with certain limitations. Electricity voltage in the camper is 12 V. Every camper of AUTO KEMPERI can have as extra voltage converter from 12 V to 220 V, so that you could use PC, recharge your telephone or camera battery in the camper. If the camper is connected to electricity in the camping, you may use at least one outlet with 220 V installed in the camper.

How long can we stay in camper without using camping facilities?

There are two batteries in a camper. One for the vehicle, the other – for living space. Battery of the living space is used for lighting, pressure of water and other equipment. If you drive at least 200 km every day, it is enough to recharge the battery of the living space, otherwise, the camper has to be connected to electricity. If you plan to stay not in the camping facility, we recommend doing it every second evening or nearby water deposit due to limited water tank (100 l). Please note that parking of a camper at night may be prohibited or restricted in some places, thus, please pay attention to road sighs.
